About the role#
The Production Intern works with our team to plan, set up, and execute events at the Hall of Fame Village. This role offers hands-on experience with production logistics and behind-the-scenes coordination. You will assist with technical operations to help deliver successful events.
What you'll do#
- Set up, operate, and break down production equipment for events, programs, and special projects.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance or inventory tracking.
- Collaborate with staff on technical and logistical projects.
- Provide on-site support during events to manage production elements.
- Organize digital media assets, project files, and production documentation.
- Record and edit training materials or emergency announcement content.
- Learn foundational skills like soldering, network cable termination, and audio-video concepts.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Audio/Visual Production, Broadcast Production, Media Production, Digital Media, or a related technical field.
- Interest in audio, video, and event production technologies.
- Familiarity with recording techniques and basic knowledge of editing software.
- Foundational understanding of networking concepts and technical systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work in various weather conditions, including both indoor and outdoor environments.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site, paid, part-time internship based in Canton, Ohio.
- The term is rolling.
- You must be available to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
