About the role#
As a Graduate Intern within the Scientific Affairs team, you will bridge the gap between scientific evidence, consumer health, and business strategy. You will support initiatives across the Wellness and Digestive Health portfolio, gaining experience in how scientific findings inform product innovation, brand strategy, and consumer communication. This role offers the chance to work alongside experts in Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Marketing, Legal, Safety, and R&D.
What you'll do#
- Review and synthesize scientific literature to support product innovation, evidence generation, and claims development.
- Analyze research on nutrition, dietary supplements, and consumer health to inform business strategies.
- Evaluate emerging evidence and consumer-relevant health topics for wellness and digestive health brands.
- Develop scientific presentations, educational materials, and abstracts.
- Participate in journal clubs, data reviews, and evidence assessment activities.
- Translate complex scientific findings into business-relevant insights.
- Monitor nutrition and wellness trends to identify new opportunities.
- Present project findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners across the organization.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master's, MPH, PhD, or RD/RDN program in Nutrition, Nutritional Sciences, Dietetics, Public Health, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field.
- Strong interest in nutrition science, consumer health, and digestive health.
- Ability to critically evaluate and communicate scientific information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Research experience in nutrition, public health, or related scientific disciplines.
- Experience with literature reviews, evidence synthesis, or data analysis.
- Prior internship, academic, or industry experience in health and wellness.
- Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential or progress toward registration is a plus.
Location & details#
- Location: Warren, New Jersey.
- Term: Summer 2027 (12 weeks).
- Modality: On-site, full-time (40 hours per week).
- Compensation: $28.00 per hour.
- Sponsorship: Not provided; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
