About the role#
Hadrian builds hardware and software for autonomous factories. As a Robotics Engineer Intern, you will help design, develop, and deploy software for intelligent automation systems. You will work alongside experienced engineers on production systems that operators and technicians depend on daily. This role involves turning factory requirements into production-ready software.
What you'll do#
- Build and improve internal tools, dashboards, and automation systems for factory operations.
- Contribute to backend services, APIs, and data pipelines used by engineering, operations, and quality teams.
- Design and implement features to improve visibility into production workflows, capacity, and program status.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver software solutions.
- Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Strong proficiency in C++ or Python.
- Exposure to motion control, trajectory generation, and robot kinematics or dynamics.
- Ability to work on-site in the Los Angeles area.
- Must meet U.S. government space technology export regulation requirements (ITAR).
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Torrance and Los Angeles, California.
- The target hourly pay range is $46.15 to $50.71.
- Housing and relocation support may be available based on business need.
