About the role#
Hadrian is building the data backbone for autonomous factories. As a Data Science or Data Engineer intern, you will work with real production data to help us scale. You will join a team of engineers and analysts to move, model, and interpret data from our factory floor. This is a hands-on role where your work will directly influence operational decisions.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain data pipelines to move machine, production, quality, and program data into our warehouse.
- Model and structure datasets to support daily decision-making for engineering and operations teams.
- Analyze production data to uncover insights on throughput, capacity, cycle time, yield, and machine utilization.
- Create dashboards, metrics, and reports to improve visibility into factory performance.
- Prototype statistical or machine learning approaches for anomaly detection, demand forecasting, and process optimization.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, or Industrial/Aerospace Engineering.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, or cloud data warehouses.
- A working knowledge of statistics and the ability to turn messy datasets into defensible conclusions.
