About the role#
The Milner Student Health, Wellness, and Counseling Center offers a part-time training experience for graduate students in clinical psychology, counseling, social work, or related fields. This is an unpaid position typically requiring 20 hours per week. You will receive on-site individual supervision from a licensed mental health professional, including case conceptualization, didactics, and feedback on recorded therapy sessions. ## What you'll do
- Provide individual therapy to students.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions when available.
- Participate in campus outreach efforts.
- Engage in consultation services.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a graduate program related to Psychology.
- At least one semester of previous clinical practicum experience or equivalent.
- Knowledge of mental healthcare ethics.
- An understanding of diverse student populations.
- Experience with Motivational Interviewing is preferred.
- Interest in substance and alcohol use disorders.
- Experience with program development and evaluation.
