About the role#
This fellowship is designed for separating service members transitioning into technical federal roles. Fellows will work alongside industry-leading subject matter experts to provide cyber security services for government clients. This position requires the ability to work in a classified environment.
What you'll do#
- Complete in-house training programs to build technical expertise.
- Participate in hands-on technical development and real-world security response.
- Engage in collaborative project work and team shadowing.
- Gain experience through partner-led vendor training and certifications.
What you'll need#
- Separation from active-duty military service within the next 18 months.
- An active security clearance (Top Secret or higher).
- Eligibility to participate in the DoD Skillbridge, Army Career Skills Program, or Hiring Our Heroes programs.
- Basic knowledge of networking, common security tools, and practices.
- Current location within the United States.
- Preference is given to those currently serving in IT, intelligence, or cyber roles.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid fellowship with a hybrid work model.
- The fellowship is offered on a rolling basis.
- On-site work in classified environments may be required at various locations, including Reston, VA; Chantilly, VA; Springfield, VA; Quantico, VA; Bowling, VA; St. Louis, MO; and Washington, DC.
