About the role#
As a Student Campus Tour Guide, you will act as an ambassador for Greenville University. You will lead tours for prospective students and their families, sharing your personal experiences to showcase our academic, social, and spiritual life. This position is a great fit for students who are outgoing and want to represent our community to visitors.
What you'll do#
- Lead personalized, informative tours for campus visitors.
- Share your own experiences regarding academic programs, residence life, athletics, and campus ministries.
- Represent the values of faith, character, and service during every interaction.
- Assist the Admissions Office during events like Preview Days, Scholarship Days, and group visits.
- Help with light administrative tasks and provide general visitor hospitality.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current undergraduate student at Greenville University in good academic and disciplinary standing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfort speaking to groups and answering questions on the spot.
- A friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic attitude.
- Active involvement in campus life, such as athletics, clubs, student leadership, or ministry.
- Previous experience in public speaking, leadership, or customer service is preferred.
