About the role#
This internship provides a practical introduction to the agricultural and rural real estate appraisal profession. You will work directly with the Appraisal Department to improve internal operations. This is a full-time, paid position based in our East Lansing office for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Analyze current workflows and assist with process improvement projects.
- Support initiatives involving automation and artificial intelligence.
- Use data analytics to identify efficiency opportunities.
- Test emerging technologies and research property data solutions.
- Develop tools to improve appraisal quality, consistency, and operational effectiveness.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor degree program with sophomore status or higher.
- A preference for majors in business or related fields.
- A minimum GPA of 3.00.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- A self-motivated approach and an interest in the agricultural or real estate sectors.
