About the role#
The On-Campus Sales Internship provides hands-on experience in sales, account management, and customer engagement. You will work from the Rutgers University campus to build relationships, grow our presence, and support business development. This is a paid, hybrid position for students interested in developing professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Build relationships with various campus departments to promote Grainger solutions.
- Engage with customers to learn their needs and recommend products or services.
- Identify new opportunities to increase our presence on campus.
- Support the awareness and usage of existing agreements.
- Deliver a final presentation to leadership sharing your insights and recommendations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at Rutgers University with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027.
- Pursuit of a bachelor degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Experience in a customer-facing or service role, such as retail or previous internships.
- Leadership experience or involvement in athletics, campus organizations, or team environments.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently.

- This role is based in South Plainfield, New Jersey.
