About the role#
This is a nine to ten week summer internship for students pursuing a bachelors or graduate degree. You will be fully immersed in the day-to-day activities of the Operations division at Goldman Sachs. Operations is central to the firm, managing the accuracy and efficiency of trades, transactions, and product launches. You will help ensure that trades are settled on time and reported correctly to all parties involved.
What you'll do#
- Attend orientation to learn about the firm culture, benefits, and your responsibilities.
- Complete training designed to help you succeed in your role.
- Work on real responsibilities alongside fellow interns and team members.
- Assist with operational tasks such as trading, transaction completion, and process design.
- Help monitor and improve the systems and information flows that keep business running.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelors or graduate degree program.
- Academic background in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Operations Management.
- Ability to work on real responsibilities within a team environment.
- Willingness to participate in orientation and training sessions.
