About the role#
Goldbelt offers paid internship opportunities for college students and recent graduates. You will gain experience in a for-profit corporate setting while exploring career paths across our various business units. This program emphasizes professional growth and provides a foundation for entering the workforce.
What you'll do#
- Learn how business functions operate within a corporate environment.
- Partner with other Alaska Native organizations to build your professional network.
- Attend workshops and training sessions focused on career development, such as resume writing and interview skills.
- Engage in cultural learning opportunities to enhance your knowledge of Tlingit heritage and Alaska Native art.
What you'll need#
- You must be a voting shareholder of Goldbelt, Inc., or a lineal descendant of a voting shareholder.
- Current enrollment as a full-time student at an accredited university, or graduation within the past six months.
- Progress toward or completion of an Associate, Bachelor, or graduate degree.
- Minimum GPA of 2.0 for undergraduates or 3.0 for graduate students.
- Previous experience working with customers in a service-oriented field.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to follow company policies and exercise good judgment in a professional setting.

- Location: Juneau, Alaska.
- Term: Ten weeks.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Modality: This is an on-site, in-person program.
