About the role#
As a Community Partnerships Intern, you will work with Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois to support youth programs. This role focuses on nonprofit social services and provides hands-on experience in program delivery. You will work directly with our team to reach under-served and at-risk youth members in the Quad Cities area.
What you'll do#
- Deliver Girl Scout programs to under-served and at-risk youth.
- Collaborate with community partners to design and deliver curriculum.
- Implement curriculum tailored to the specific interests and needs of youth members.
- Shadow team members during program delivery to gain experience in the field.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a college or high school student.
- Interest in fields such as Sociology, Psychology, Public Health, Communications, or Business Administration.
- A desire to make a difference in the community and empower youth.
- Ability to solve problems and a knack for innovation.
