Environmental Engineering Co-op

About the role#

This Environmental Engineering Co-op position offers the opportunity to work alongside project managers, engineers, geologists, and environmental scientists. You will support the coordination and implementation of various environmental engineering solutions, including air quality, solid waste, and remediation projects.

What you'll do#

• Conduct report writing and data management tasks.
• Assist with Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, including drilling and the sampling of soil, sediment, and groundwater.
• Participate in remediation planning, oversight, and verification.
• Receive training in areas such as monitoring well installation and the operation and maintenance of remediation systems.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, Hydrogeology, or a related field.
• Ability to learn on the job and apply academic theory in a practical setting.
• Eagerness to learn and apply new technical skills.
• Initiative to collaborate effectively and contribute to a range of team and project tasks.
