About the role#
As an Electrical Engineering Co-op, you will support the development of Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) systems. You will work with experienced engineers on the design, testing, and integration of high-frequency electronics, antennas, and embedded systems used for subsurface imaging.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the design and testing of RF circuits, antennas, and signal processing components.
- Support PCB layout, schematic capture, and hardware prototyping.
- Use oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and other diagnostic tools for lab testing.
- Collaborate with software and mechanical teams to integrate electrical systems into GPR platforms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in prototypes and production units.
- Document engineering processes, test results, and design iterations.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to product improvement.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program for Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Coursework or experience in signal processing, FPGA, or embedded systems.
- Familiarity with PCB design tools like Altium, KiCad, or OrCAD.
- A basic understanding of microcontrollers, FPGAs, sensors, and interfaces.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

- Work is on-site and full-time.
- This is a paid co-op role.
