About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to apply your classroom knowledge to programs that support national defense. You will work with collaborative teams on technical projects and gain experience alongside a group of colleagues in the defense and space manufacturing industry.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to projects that support fundamental defense services.
- Collaborate with team members across functional departments.
- Assist in evaluating and fulfilling hardware and software requirements for customers.
- Develop your technical skill set in a professional environment.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited degree program for Computer, Systems, Software, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Preference for students with sophomore standing or higher.
- Understanding of engineering technology and practices such as procurement, supply support, maintenance planning, sustainment, and obsolescence management.
- Coursework or interest in integrated logistics support, specifically regarding reliability, availability, and maintainability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- U.S. citizenship is required for this role.
