About the role#
This is a paid, 8-week summer internship program based in Pittsburgh. You will complete 320 hours of full-time work, Monday through Friday. The program balances expert-led developmental training with hands-on work on active client projects. You will work alongside engineers, landscape architects, and other specialists to deliver project solutions.
What you'll do#
- Complete training in Environmental Health & Safety, Design Technology, Site Design, and Project Management.
- Participate in field sessions focused on design and construction, as well as plan and specification reviews.
- Work directly on client projects under the guidance of a Project Manager.
- Use CADD software to develop plans and project specifications.
- Travel to project sites as needed.
- Maintain your assigned office workstation.
What you'll need#
- You have finished your sophomore or junior year of college and are returning to school for your junior or senior year.
- You are enrolled in a degree program such as Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, landscape architecture, or GIS.
- You plan to live and work in the Pittsburgh area after graduation.
- You have your own transportation for travel to the office and project sites.
- You are coachable and committed to learning.
- You have strong communication and organizational skills.
- You can manage your time effectively and think critically.
- You have experience with Microsoft Office applications.
