Fall 2026 Intern - Treasury

About the role#

The Treasury Intern will work within the corporate finance department at Frontier Airlines. This role provides exposure to treasury management, financial operations, and capital markets. The internship runs from September 9, 2026, to December 11, 2026, and is based in Denver, Colorado.

What you'll do#

• Assist the Treasury team with cash forecasts and daily cash summaries.
• Perform cash duties, including managing payments, receipts, and the reconciliation of daily cash positions.
• Support fleet finance and administration tasks.
• Participate in corporate insurance and fuel administration operations.
• Conduct financial analysis and reporting.
• Assist with risk management, scenario analysis, and internal consulting across the organization.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an accredited university.
• Completion of 3+ years of undergraduate coursework or current enrollment in a graduate program is preferred.
• Relevant coursework in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, mathematics, or other quantitative disciplines.
• Demonstrated understanding of economic, financial, and accounting concepts.
• Proficiency in Excel, including macros and data mining software.
• Ability to work full-time hours for the duration of the internship.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a logical, analytical approach to problem-solving.
