About the role#
This position provides event production and facility support for the Visual and Performing Arts Center. You will assist staff with technical production, event setup, and daily operations to ensure successful performances and events for the district.
What you'll do#
- Set up and operate sound, lighting, video, and rigging equipment.
- Serve in various production roles including stagehand, stage manager, and building host.
- Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and district staff.
- Support campus and department event needs.
- Communicate performance issues or event requirements to the Manager on Duty.
- Maintain facility equipment and inventory.
- Complete required training and certifications for equipment operation.
What you'll need#
- Minimum age of 16.
- Current enrollment in a high school Fine Arts program, with at least one year of completion preferred.
- Experience with technical theatre arts and music equipment setup.
- Knowledge of theatrical light, sound, and rigging systems.
- Proficiency with projection equipment and setup procedures.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and solve problems while following procedures.

- Location: Frisco, Texas.
- Modality: On-site.
- Pay: $15.00 per hour.
- Schedule: Rolling term with work days assigned as needed, including extended evening hours for events.
