About the role#
Freestyle is looking for an intern or fellow to join the team for video production and photography work. This role involves supporting film shoots, editing media, and contributing to digital marketing strategies for clients. You will work on a variety of tasks based on current project needs and your own career goals. As part of the program, you will complete one project to produce a video for your personal portfolio.
What you'll do#
- Assist with shooting promotional videos and photography for clients and events.
- Edit videos and media collateral.
- Help with film shoots in the studio.
- Contribute to creative strategy for client digital marketing.
- Handle day-to-day film and digital marketing tasks.
- Manage a project from start to finish to create a video for your resume and reel.
What you'll need#
- You are a college junior or senior studying film, media studies, broadcast electronic media, photography, or visual communications.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere.
- Strong video-editing skills, with sound design and animation experience as a bonus.
- Ability to manage projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills.
- Clear verbal and visual communication skills.
- A desire to work in a collaborative environment.
Location & details#
- Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
- Modality: On-site.
- Commitment: 10 to 20 hours per week, scheduled around your classes.
- Compensation: Internships are unpaid and must be for course credit. Fellowships are paid temporary part-time positions. There is potential for either to lead to a contract-to-hire position.
