About the role#
Freestyle is hiring for a Digital Marketing and Social Media role. This position is available as an unpaid internship for course credit or a paid fellowship. You will work 10 to 20 hours per week, with a schedule coordinated around your classes. There is potential for this role to transition into a contract position based on hiring needs.
What you'll do#
- Create content for client social media platforms.
- Develop blog topics and draft posts.
- Brainstorm and plan digital marketing strategies.
- Write copy for digital signage and marketing assets.
- Assist the team with daily marketing tasks.
- Help implement paid social, SEM, and display campaigns.
- Track ad spend budgets and review reports to ensure KPIs are met.
What you'll need#
- You are a college junior or senior studying public relations, advertising, marketing, or communications.
- Strong writing skills for social media.
- Ability to think analytically and critically.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage projects from start to finish and meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and visual communication skills.
- Ability to multitask while remaining accurate.
- A desire to work in a technical, creative, and collaborative environment.
Location & details#
- This role is on-site in OKC, Oklahoma.
- Interns must be eligible for university course credit.
- Fellows are paid on an hourly basis.
- Sponsorship is not available for this role.
