About the role#
The FOX News Media Internship Program provides students with practical experience in the media industry. You will work on real-world projects and develop professional skills while contributing to the operations of a major news organization. This is a paid, part-time, on-site opportunity based in New York.
What you'll do#
You will perform tasks within the Business Intelligence or Programming Analytics departments. Your work will involve:
- Contributing to real-world projects.
- Gaining hands-on experience in data analysis and media operations.
- Participating in master classes, professional development sessions, and networking events.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university as an undergraduate or graduate student (sophomore standing or higher).
- A strong academic record.
- Majors in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
- Availability to work 16 to 24 hours per week for the duration of the program.
- Ability to work on-site in New York with your own housing and transportation.
- Knowledge of current events, national news, FOX programming, and the media industry.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in software systems relevant to data analytics.
- A proactive, self-starter attitude with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and maintain a professional demeanor.
Location & details#
- Location: New York, New York.
- Term: Winter 2027 (February 8, 2027 to April 16, 2027).
- Pay: $20.00 per hour.
- Schedule: 16 to 24 hours per week, tailored to your class schedule.
