About the role#
The FOX News Media Internship Program provides students with practical experience at a major media organization. Interns work on real-world projects and gain exposure to the daily operations of our news and business networks. You will be considered for placement across various departments including FOX News Channel, FOX Business Network, FOX News Digital, FOX News Radio, or FOX Nation based on your background and interests.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to projects relevant to your assigned department.
- Attend FOX Master Classes to learn about our company, industry, and software systems.
- Participate in Professional Development Series activities.
- Engage in networking opportunities with fellow interns and company professionals.
What you'll need#
- You must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university as a sophomore or higher.
- A strong academic record is required.
- You must be committed to the full length of the program.
- You need to have your own housing and transportation for the duration of the internship.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- You should have a solid grasp of current events on a national scale and knowledge of FOX programming.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor when working with talent and executives.
- Proficiency in software systems relevant to your area of interest, such as Excel for finance or Adobe Premiere and Avid for production.
- A proactive, self-starter attitude with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
