About the role#
The FOX News Media Internship Program offers students a chance to gain practical experience at a major media company. Interns participate in real-world projects to build professional skills. The program includes FOX Master Classes featuring presentations, panels, and training sessions. You will also take part in a professional development series and various networking opportunities throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to projects within departments such as FOX News Channel or FOX Business Network.
- Engage with industry professionals and fellow interns.
- Attend training sessions to learn about company systems and media operations.
- Assist teams in a deadline-driven environment.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in an accredited college or university as a sophomore or above.
- A strong academic record.
- Knowledge of current events, business news, and FOX programming.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor when working with talent and executives.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software systems such as Adobe Premiere, Avid, or iNews.
- A proactive, self-starter attitude with attention to detail.
- Ability to work well within a team.
Location & details#
- This internship is based in Washington, DC.
- The role is on-site and paid at $20.00 per hour.
- Applicants must provide their own housing and transportation to the site.
- You must be available to work for the full duration of the program.
- The program runs during Summer 2027, with sessions occurring between June and August.
