About the role#
The FOX News Media Internship Program provides students with an opportunity to gain practical experience within a major media organization. Interns participate in real-world projects that help develop professional skills and industry knowledge. This is a paid, part-time position.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to projects that provide hands-on work experience.
- Participate in FOX Master Classes covering company operations and software systems.
- Engage in professional development activities and networking events.
- Collaborate with team members in a deadline-driven environment.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in an accredited college or university as an undergraduate or graduate student.
- Sophomore standing or higher.
- Strong academic record.
- Ability to work for the full duration of the program.
- Knowledge of current events, business news, and the media industry.
- Familiarity with FOX programming and talent.
- Proficiency in relevant software systems, such as Adobe Premiere, Adobe Audition, iNews, Avid, FinalCut Pro, or Dalet.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
- A proactive, self-starter attitude.
- Ability to maintain professional conduct when interacting with executives and talent.
Location & details#
- Location: Chicago, Illinois.
- Modality: On-site.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Schedule: 32 to 40 hours per week.
- Requirements: Candidates must provide their own housing and transportation to the internship site. Proof of enrollment is required for accepted students.
