About the role#
The FOX News Media Internship Program provides students with practical experience within a major media company. You will participate in real-world projects to build your professional skills. This program includes access to master classes, professional development sessions, and networking opportunities. You may be placed with the FOX News Channel Atlanta Bureau.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to real-world projects assigned by your department.
- Collaborate with team members on various media tasks.
- Engage with professional development activities and company-led training.
- Maintain a professional demeanor when working with executives and talent.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university as an undergraduate or graduate student.
- Sophomore standing or higher with a strong academic record.
- Availability to work for the full duration of the program.
- Knowledge of current events, national news, and FOX programming.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software systems such as Adobe Premiere, Avid, or iNews depending on your placement.
- A proactive, self-starter attitude with high attention to detail.
Location & details#
- Location: Atlanta, Georgia (On-site).
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Schedule: 32 to 40 hours per week.
- Compensation: $20.00 per hour.
- Requirements: You must provide your own housing and transportation to the site. Sponsorship is not available for this role.
