About the role#
The FOX News Media Internship Program provides students with practical experience across various departments including journalism, production, finance, accounting, and graphic design. Interns participate in real-world projects to build professional skills while working alongside teams at FOX News Channel, FOX Business Network, FOX News Radio, or FOX Nation.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to daily operations and projects within your assigned department.
- Attend FOX Master Classes to learn about the company and industry systems.
- Participate in professional development sessions and networking events.
- Collaborate with team members to support ongoing media and business initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in an accredited college or university as a sophomore or higher.
- Pursuit of an undergraduate or graduate degree in fields such as Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, Finance, Accounting, or Graphic Design.
- Strong academic record and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of current events, business news, and FOX programming.
- Proficiency in relevant software systems for your area, such as Excel for finance or Adobe Premiere and Avid for production.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive attitude and ability to manage tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
Location & details#
- Location: New York, New York.
- Term: Winter 2027 (February 8, 2027, to April 16, 2027).
- Schedule: 16 to 24 hours per week.
- Modality: This is an on-site program. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
- Compensation: $20.00 per hour.
- Requirements: You must be available for the entire program duration.
