About the role#
This internship provides practical experience within the Business and Legal Affairs department at FOX. You will support legal operations and gain exposure to the media and entertainment industry during the Summer 2027 term. This is a paid, part-time position based on-site in Los Angeles.
What you'll do#
- Analyze legal issues related to the development and production of FOX programming.
- Draft production, talent, sponsorship, and license agreements under the supervision of an attorney.
- Review existing agreements and compile resources for creative and business teams regarding contractual obligations.
- Handle various departmental operational tasks as needed.
- Participate in company master classes, professional development sessions, and networking opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in an accredited law school pursuing a JD.
- Completion of the first year of law school.
- A strong academic record.
- Knowledge of the media industry, current FOX programming, and talent.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor when working with executives and talent.
- Availability for the entire duration of the program.
- Coursework in copyright, entertainment, or intellectual property is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Los Angeles, California.
- Work Modality: This role is on-site. You must have your own housing and transportation.
- Schedule: 32 to 40 hours per week. Schedules vary based on department needs, and we work to accommodate your availability.
- Compensation: $30.00 per hour.
