About the role#
The Big Ten Network Media Management internship provides practical experience in media operations and asset management. You will support the daily workflows of the network by organizing, archiving, and managing media assets within the internal ecosystem.
What you'll do#
- Assist with metadata tagging and manage nomenclatures within the internal ecosystem.
- Archive footage across multiple storage systems.
- Upload footage using Adobe Premiere.
- Maintain and organize the database, including the creation of new user accounts.
- Fulfill media requests from networks, athletic departments, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Assist with the organization of internal and external media cataloging and library transfers to cloud storage.
- Support day-to-day operational workflows.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in an accredited college or university, pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree.
- Current standing as at least a sophomore.
- A strong academic record.
- Knowledge of Big Ten Network programming and live events.
- Ability to work on-site in Chicago, Illinois.
- Access to personal housing and transportation to and from the internship site.
- Commitment to work for the duration of the program.

- Hours: 16 to 24 hours per week.
- Compensation: Paid at $20.00 per hour.
