About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in public accounting. You will work on client engagements similar to those assigned to entry-level associates, gaining exposure to various industries. You will work alongside senior staff and managers to develop your technical skills.
What you'll do#
- Reconcile account differences with client personnel
- Analyze financial data
- Prepare individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
- Calculate tax extensions and estimate payments
- Attend client meetings with partners and managers
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of CPA Exam eligibility
- Accounting major with satisfactory academic performance
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Solid technical accounting knowledge
- Strong communication and computer skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure
- Initiative, attention to detail, and a problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Reliable transportation for office and off-site meetings
