About the role#
This 8-week Summer Internship Program provides students with professional experience within the insurance industry. You will work alongside experts in departments such as Internal Audit, Data Analytics, Underwriting, Cybersecurity, or Business Analysis. You will report to a department manager and complete tasks tailored to your specific placement.
What you'll do#
- Assist with daily tasks and ongoing projects within your assigned department.
- Gather and analyze data to support business decisions.
- Research industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Document workflows, policies, and technical processes.
- Maintain organized records and reports.
- Participate in meetings, brainstorming sessions, and project reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete assignments.
- Identify areas for efficiency and recommend solutions.
- Create summaries, dashboards, or slide decks to present your findings.
- Attend company-organized training sessions and networking events.
- Contribute to an end-of-internship project presentation for leadership.
- Seek feedback and apply what you learn to your tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program in a field such as Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Computer Science.
- Rising seniors are preferred.
- Strong academic performance.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- A proactive approach to professional development.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute in a professional setting.

- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based on-site in Jacksonville, Florida.
