About the role#
The Department of Info Sys and Bus Analytic at Florida International University is hiring a Student Front Desk Assistant. This is a Federal Work Study position based at the Modesto A. Maidique Campus in Miami. Hours for this role vary depending on your class schedule and the needs of the department.
What you'll do#
- Answer incoming phone calls.
- Respond to department student service emails.
- Assist faculty and students with their questions.
- Provide general office coverage.
- Make copies and assist staff with daily tasks for faculty and student services.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at FIU with at least six credit hours.
- A Federal Work Study (FWS) award as part of your Financial Aid package.
- Ability to maintain enrollment during the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.
Location & details#
- Location: Modesto A. Maidique Campus, Miami, Florida.
- Pay: $15.00 per hour.
- Note: Employment must end if your credits drop, your award is canceled, or you graduate. This appointment may be subject to a pre-employment background check.
