Metro Market Health Managment Internship

About the role#

The Metro Market team serves as a shared service providing oversight and support across Manhattan, Western Queens, Brooklyn, and Staten Island. This internship involves performing administrative staff work to support research and review projects centered on hospital policies, procedures, and departmental operations. The team collaborates with partners in hospital administration, ambulatory services, human resources, finance, and strategy.

What you'll do#

• Collect and prepare data relevant to departmental work.
• Assist in studies to evaluate the efficiency, economy, and effectiveness of hospital operations, policies, and procedures.
• Support management in the facilitation of new programs and procedures.
• Perform related administrative duties as required.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a graduate-level program in Public Health or a related major.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior administrative experience in a hospital setting is preferred.

Location & details#

• Location: Lake Success, New York.
• Term: Summer 2026 (June through August).
• Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
• Modality: On-site.
