About the role#
The HR Rotational Internship offers an opportunity to support research and review projects centered on hospital policies, procedures, and department operations. This is a full-time, unpaid summer internship running from June 2026 through August 2026.
What you'll do#
- Perform administrative staff work to support departmental research and review projects.
- Collect and prepare data relevant to department operations.
- Assist in studies designed to evaluate the efficiency, economy, and effectiveness of hospital policies and procedures.
- Support management in the facilitation of new programs and procedures.
- Perform additional related duties as required.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably majoring in Political Science or Psychology with an expected graduation date in 2027.
- Prior administrative experience in a hospital setting is preferred.

- Location: Lake Success and Melville, New York.
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
