About the role#
This administrative internship focuses on supporting research and review projects centered on hospital policies, procedures, and departmental operations. This is an unpaid, full-time, on-site position.
What you'll do#
- Collect and prepare data relevant to departmental work.
- Assist in studies to evaluate the efficiency, economy, and effectiveness of hospital operations and procedures.
- Support management in the facilitation of new programs and procedures.
- Perform related administrative tasks as required.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Health Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Prior administrative experience in a hospital setting is preferred.

- Locations: Lake Success, NY and Riverhead, NY.
- Term: Summer 2026 (June 2026 through August 2026).
- Modality: On-site, full-time.
- Note: No stipend is provided for lodging, travel, or meals.
