About the role#
Fleetzero builds battery-electric ships. We need more hands on the marketing team for Fall 2026 and Summer 2027. This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship. You will report directly to the VP of Marketing. Your work will be real, producing actual projects that ship rather than internal practice decks.
What you'll do#
- Draft content for various channels.
- Research industry topics.
- Prepare for events.
- Support marketing campaigns.
- Assist with daily tasks to help the team meet weekly goals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong writing skills and a natural creative propensity.
- Familiarity with at least one of these areas: social media management, content production, graphic design, or marketing analytics.
- High agency: you figure things out, ask smart questions, and work independently.
- Genuine interest in maritime, energy, defense, or deep tech.
- Ability to work on-site at our Houston facility.
- Preferred: Experience running or contributing to a campus organization's social media or communications.
- Preferred: Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or video editing software.
- Preferred: Previous internship or project experience in a startup, agency, or technical industry.

- Compensation: 15-20 USD per hour.
