About the role#
The Personal Trainer Career Accelerator Program provides hands-on experience in a professional studio environment. This program is designed for trainers who want to build skills before starting a full-time training role. You will move through three phases covering observation, studio operations, and active coaching. At the three-month mark, we will review your progress to determine the next steps for your career.
What you'll do#
- Shadow experienced trainers to learn client interaction and session flow.
- Manage studio operations including cleaning, admin tasks, and client check-ins.
- Provide support during training sessions under supervision.
- Co-lead warmups, cooldowns, and small session segments.
- Perform movement screens and assessments.
- Assist with programming for clients.
What you'll need#
- A degree in Kinesiology or a related field.
- Recently completed or soon-to-be completed personal training certification.
- A strong interest in fitness.

- Location: Avon, Connecticut.
- Work modality: On-site.
- This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling start date.
