About the role#
We are looking for a Process Engineer Intern to join our Nutek Disposables team in McElhattan. This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship.
What you'll do#
- Support production teams with daily operations, including machine cleanup, housekeeping, and material preparation.
- Provide daily process troubleshooting support to operations staff.
- Attend morning shift exchange meetings.
- Work with platform leadership on changeover scheduling and resource allocation.
- Support efficient changeovers and maintain the necessary documentation.
- Assist process engineers with identifying causes for material variances and minimizing waste streams.
- Help establish and maintain maximum safe production speeds.
- Assist in resolving product specification and bill of materials issues.
- Identify areas for process improvement and complete tasks assigned by the Process Engineering Manager.
What you'll need#
- You are self-motivated and able to complete multiple tasks within short time frames.
- You work well with others, even under time pressure.
- You follow all safety guidelines.
