About the role#
Filtrex Service Group is hiring an HR Generalist Intern to support our team in Tulsa. This is a full-time, on-site, paid internship with a rolling start date. You will gain hands-on experience across various HR functions, from recruitment to policy development.
What you'll do#
- Draft job descriptions, post advertisements, and source candidates.
- Screen incoming resumes and manage interview schedules.
- Lead new hire onboarding tasks, including document preparation and orientation sessions.
- Respond to employee inquiries and help maintain a positive workplace.
- Assist with employee engagement events and internal initiatives.
- Keep HR records and databases accurate and up to date.
- Process contracts, performance reviews, and other HR documents.
- Ensure company activities align with labor laws and internal policies.
- Coordinate training sessions and track participation.
- Research industry practices and suggest improvements for HR programs.
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in or recent graduation from a degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- A proactive mindset and a willingness to learn.
- Experience with HRIS or applicant tracking systems is helpful but not required.
