About the role#
The Project Management Intern will support the successful completion of construction projects from initial hand-off through final close-out. This role involves assisting the project management team with planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and project accounting while ensuring compliance with quality standards.
What you'll do#
- Organize and plan for the safe and efficient execution of assigned projects.
- Assist in maintaining financial controls to manage project profit and loss.
- Help develop and maintain project schedules.
- Collaborate with the project management team to estimate, price, and negotiate project costs.
- Work alongside Superintendents and Estimating teams to facilitate project collaboration.
- Support department initiatives and solve problems as they arise using available resources.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Competency with computers and basic software programs.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organization and detail-oriented work habits.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with an adaptable, flexible approach to working with diverse individuals.

- Location: Smyrna, Tennessee.
- Modality: On-site.
- Employment: Full-time, paid internship.
- Travel: Light travel between the office and various job sites may be required.
- Work Environment: Exposure to various settings including office and field environments, indoor/outdoor locations, confined spaces, heights, and areas with loud noise or traffic.
