About the role#
The Project Management Intern supports the successful completion of construction projects from initial hand-off through final close-out. You will assist the project management team with planning, scheduling, and financial controls while gaining exposure to technical direction and quality compliance. This role involves both office work and site visits to support project execution.
What you'll do#
- Organize and plan for the safe and efficient execution of assigned projects.
- Assist in maintaining financial controls to monitor project profit and loss.
- Develop and maintain project schedules.
- Collaborate with the project management team to estimate, price, and negotiate project costs.
- Work with Superintendents and Estimating teams to facilitate project collaboration.
- Support department initiatives and solve problems using available resources.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Environmental Engineering, Architecture, or Industrial Engineering.
- Competency with computers and basic software.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proven problem-solving skills with an adaptable approach.
