About the role#
As a Supply Chain Intern at Fervo Energy, you will join our Operations team to support the procurement, logistics, and materials management that keep our geothermal projects running. You will work on a specific project scoped with your manager on your first day and own that work for the full 12 weeks. At the end of the summer, you will present your results to our executive leadership team and department leads.
What you'll do#
- Support procurement and vendor management processes.
- Assist with inventory tracking and materials management.
- Help analyze supply chain data to identify cost savings and efficiency opportunities.
- Support logistics coordination for field and construction materials.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising Junior, Senior, Master's, MBA candidate wrapping up within the next year, or a PhD candidate.
- You are pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, including comfort presenting to stakeholders and leadership.
- You have an eagerness to learn, take initiative, and adapt quickly to new challenges.
- Experience with ERP or supply chain management software is preferred.
- Comfort working with data and building reports or dashboards is preferred.
- An interest in procurement, logistics, or vendor management is preferred.
