About the role#
As a Sign Maker Apprentice Intern, you will work in our production area to build and assemble custom signs and graphics. We provide training on all equipment, so no prior experience is required. This is a paid, part-time position.
What you'll do#
- Assemble and create sign products for various business needs.
- Cut printed graphics using saws, wall cutters, and Exacto blades.
- Apply finished products to substrates.
- Operate production equipment including lasers, 3D printers, and flatbed printers.
- Read and follow specific work orders for custom projects.
- Perform design tasks using Adobe Illustrator.
What you'll need#
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- Ability to work daily, Monday through Friday.
- Availability during most of the summer and school breaks.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Self-motivation and the ability to solve problems on your own.
- Interest in fields like Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or Art.
