About the role#
Farallon Consulting is looking for an intern to join our Bellevue or Seattle teams. You will work with scientists, geologists, and engineers on projects that address environmental challenges. This role provides hands-on experience in investigation, remediation, and compliance work. You will split your time between field activities and office-based tasks.
What you'll do#
- Support soil, groundwater, sediment, and stormwater sampling.
- Assist with environmental site investigations and remediation projects.
- Collect, manage, and interpret environmental data.
- Conduct historical and regulatory research.
- Prepare technical reports, figures, and project documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and learn about project management.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor's or master's program in Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.
- Interest in environmental consulting and remediation.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Commitment to safety and teamwork.
