About the role#
Family Health Centers of San Diego offers student internship opportunities to support various departments across our locations. This is an unpaid, on-site role that provides exposure to community-based healthcare services. Interns assist with daily operations and contribute to projects that serve our patient population.
What you'll do#
- Provide health education and engage with patients.
- Assist with clerical tasks and event support.
- Help plan, implement, and evaluate services based on departmental requirements.
- Work effectively with patients from diverse social, cultural, and economic backgrounds.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with team members and other departments.
What you'll need#
- You must be a full-time student at a local high school or an accredited college or university.
- A minimum 2.0 GPA is required.
- You must be part of an approved affiliated program.
- An interest in the mission of Family Health Centers of San Diego.
- Ability to pass organizational medical and background clearance requirements.
