About the role#
Family & Children's Services is seeking a Bachelor's level intern or practicum student for the Fall 2026 term. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position based in Oklahoma City. You will work under supervision to provide social service functions that help clients access resources for their recovery. The role involves working in both office and community settings.
What you'll do#
- Assist with case management and rehabilitation services using a client-driven, strengths-based approach.
- Observe the development of comprehensive intake screenings, assessments, and treatment plans.
- Create a resource guide and collaborate with community organizations to meet client needs.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Provide support through advocacy, education, crisis intervention, and service coordination.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in a social sciences field, such as Psychology, Sociology, Political Science, or Human Resources.
- A strong commitment to upholding clients' rights to adequate and continuous support.
- A valid Oklahoma Driver License and a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to use your personal vehicle to travel to various locations.

- This is a safety-sensitive position. You will be subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random screenings. A positive result for marijuana, regardless of a medical license, may result in the revocation of a job offer or dismissal.
