Bachelors Level Intern or Practicum Student

About the role#

Family & Children's Services is seeking a Bachelor’s level intern or practicum student for the Fall 2026 term. This on-site, paid position involves providing social service functions to help clients access recovery resources. Interns work under close supervision to assist with individual and group services, including assessment, advocacy, linkage, referral, and crisis intervention.

What you'll do#

• Assist with case management and rehabilitation services using a strengths-based and client-driven approach.
• Observe the development of comprehensive intake screenings, assessments, and treatment plans.
• Develop a resource guide and collaborate with community partners to address client needs.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Psychology, Sociology, Political Science, Human Resources, or a related social sciences field.
• A strong commitment to upholding clients' rights to adequate and competent support.
• A valid Oklahoma Driver License and a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to use a personal automobile to travel to locations outside of the primary office.
