About the role#
As a Business Advisory Intern in the Tax Technology and Transformation (TTT) practice, you will help financial services organizations modernize their tax functions. You will work within a team-led environment to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This role involves learning how tax functions connect with finance, operations, and risk management while gaining exposure to client challenges and organizational cultures.
What you'll do#
- Support business analysis by documenting current processes and identifying pain points.
- Help design future-state tax operating models, workflows, and process improvements.
- Analyze financial, operational, and tax data to identify trends and risks.
- Prepare client-ready materials, including process documentation, project plans, and executive presentations.
- Provide program support by tracking activities, coordinating stakeholders, and organizing deliverables.
- Explore how data, automation, and AI support business transformation and decision-making.
What you'll need#
- Predicted undergraduate or graduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Business Management, or an Accounting major with a double major or minor in a technology-related field.
- A cumulative college or university GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills.
- Intellectual curiosity regarding technology and an entrepreneurial approach to problem-solving.
- Foundational understanding of data management, databases, analytics, programming, or automation concepts.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Location & details#
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid. You will be expected to work in person 40-60% of the time based on project needs.
- Requirements: You must reside within a commutable distance of the office location. Access to reliable transportation is required, and a driver's license is strongly recommended. You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
