About the role#
Exegy is looking for an intern to help design high-performance data processing applications for the real-time financial data industry. This is a full-time, paid internship position for Summer 2027. You will work in a hybrid capacity at our St. Louis office on development, design, and testing tasks.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle.
- Use engineering principles to solve complex problems through creative thinking.
- Adopt new technologies, tools, and methods to deliver effective solutions.
- Maintain software development best practices, including testing, version control, and secure coding.
- Complete software projects in a team environment using time management skills.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Python, C++, and Linux environments.
- A strong interest in technology, systems, and hardware/software integration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- An ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment and a desire to learn.
