About the role#
We are looking for an AI Engineer Intern to join our team in Palo Alto. You will work on machine learning and generative AI problems within the legal domain. This role involves collaborating with researchers and engineers to build, test, and deploy AI systems. You will gain experience with production-grade software while addressing challenges in document and content AI.
What you'll do#
- Design and implement AI and machine learning solutions for specific customer needs.
- Build, test, and deploy models in production environments alongside senior engineers.
- Support the creation of secure, cloud-agnostic software.
- Troubleshoot models to resolve performance bottlenecks and address model drift.
- Research methods to improve the accuracy and efficiency of our AI systems.
- Develop documentation for AI workflows and deployment processes.
- Contribute to product development and the AI roadmap.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience with deep learning, traditional machine learning, LLMs, RAG, or other NLP techniques.
- Familiarity with MLOps tools like MLflow.
- Experience with data analysis, automation, or predictive modeling projects.
- Interest in legal technology or enterprise-grade systems.
