About the role#
We are hiring interns for the Summer 2027 term to join our Land Development team. This is a full-time, on-site position. You will work across our offices in Fort Smith, Fayetteville, Rogers, or Little Rock, Arkansas.
What you'll do#
- Analyze reports, maps, aerial photographs, and terrain data to plan and design projects.
- Create design documents using computer assisted engineering software.
- Prepare and modify reports, specifications, plans, and environmental impact studies.
- Determine project feasibility and prepare detailed cost estimates.
- Coordinate project activity with your supervisor and support staff.
- Research regulations and design techniques to solve project issues.
- Prepare planting plans, material boards, and presentation renderings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Science program for Engineering or Landscape Architecture.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
- Experience with Adobe Suites.
- Skills in hand drawing, rendering, or Illustrator.
- Working knowledge of native plants.
- Ability to handle short or day trips to visit jobsites or meet clients.
