About the role#
As a transportation civil engineering intern, you will work on a variety of projects involving highway and bridge engineering. You will gain experience in transportation infrastructure while working under direct supervision. This is a temporary, full-time, paid position with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Apply engineering principles to prepare design calculations and technical reports.
- Assist other groups with structure design, water resources, and traffic projects.
- Support staff members with daily tasks.
- Use engineering software and equipment to complete assignments.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program for Civil Engineering at an accredited university.
- Completion of at least one year of study in your program.
- Experience with AutoCAD and MicroStation.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and good communication skills.
